At the highest levels of youth soccer, volunteer coaches have been replaced in many leagues with paid trainers. Parents shell out lots of money for private training in the hopes of turning their child into the world’s next Freddy Adu.

Things are serious, and regardless of your opinions of how the game has evolved at the youth level, one thing is for sure: The games are more competitive then ever before! Of course the majority of kids play in less competitive leagues, on teams coached by volunteers. These coaches are dedicated individuals that usually do their best to help the team but are often limited by their knowledge of the game.

I don’t mean to beat up on Volunteer coaches because after all, they are what allows youth soccer to exist, but many lack the ability or the time to invest properly in putting together a plan for developing their players. Against a coach like me, they have no chance.

Why? I know the game and I have a plan for training my team. I know what I want to teach them and I have a way to go about doing it. Most importantly, I know more and I cover more ground over the season.

Some coaches flat our wing-it. They throw out a few cones, dribble around them and kick the ball around for awhile. They do what the kids want to do which is always scrimmage, and no one really learns a thing.

It goes without saying that players who have well-informed coaches will learn more, have more fun, and be more likely to play soccer the next season. As sad as it is to say, one bad season or coach is enough to ruin the game and make kids quit. If you are a coach, you owe it to your team to develop a soccer practice plan that inspires and improves your players.

If you are a coach without a plan for training your team “Soccer Season Outsourced” can help! It is the ultimate

But I must say, it’s a special moment for me.”To be honest, I’m not at my best yet,” he told FIFA.com. “Yes I’m playing well, but I think I can get better. But now it’s not about me, but rather about the country. We have a big game against Mexico, that is all that is on my mind now. Our dreams have to come true.”

Carlos Alberto PARREIRA Say:
“We respect everyone, but we fear nobody,” Parreira said after his team beat Denmark 1-0 on Saturday at Super Stadium in Tshwane/Pretoria. “If you had asked me five months ago if we were ready, I would have told you that ‘no, we have a long way to go’. But today, I’m happy with the progress, we are up there, we are ready for the task that awaits us. We still have time to work on one or two things, but overall, I’m happy.”

“I took that message to the players and I told them that it was their responsibility to make this country proud. Now they are ready”
“Our aim is to win, the result against Denmark was very important for us. We played against a very good team, an experienced team. But as I said, we played with confidence. We have played a number of games in our preparations, but I knew that the game against Denmark was going to be a huge challenge for us.”

You have to consider that education is one of the most important investments that you will ever make in your whole life. This is why your parents save money in order for you to get in a good college and finish it. As a parent, you want your child to have the best education money can buy. With a college education, your children will be able to live a good life.

College education is required by many companies today in order to have a spirited workforce that will keep their company competitive in the world of business. Whatever fields your child chooses, you have to remember that college education will land them that job they want and also secure their future.

You also have to consider that the high paying jobs today requires a college degree. If your child doesn’t have a college degree, then the chances for them to find the job they want with good compensation will be very hard.

However, what if you can’t afford to pay for college? With the decline in today’s economy, just making ends meet is a challenge. So, you may now ask, what about your child? What happens to your plans in saving money for them in order to get in a good college?

One good way to get your child to a good college is by letting them play soccer. It is a fact that it may seem too good to believe that soccer can take your child to college. However, there are good colleges out there that offer college soccer scholarship. They send out scouts to different schools to evaluate different soccer players and offer the best soccer player a college scholarship. This is one of the best and the most common ways that your child can earn a scholarship.

If your child loves playing soccer, you should consider investing in this sport in order to improve your child’s soccer skills. Armed with good soccer skills will prepare them for athletic scholarship grants that many colleges are sponsoring. However, your child should be the best in the sport in order to get noticed.

You have to consider that soccer isn’t really a very good career choice for your child. The odds of getting a career out of soccer are very close to nil. You just have to think of soccer as a ticket for your child to attend a good college where they can learn the field they choose and prepare them for the future.

You should advice your child that being soccer pro will be a very hard thing to achieve and they should also study in the field they choose in order to let them have a second option on getting the job they want. You have to advice them that although they should work hard in their soccer skills, they should also work hard in their academics and study hard in order to prepare them in case they don’t make it as a professional soccer player.

When applying for a college soccer scholarship, you can get your child to be involved in the Olympic Development Program. This program will increase their chances in getting a college scholarship and will also let your child polish their skills in playing soccer. It is also recommended that you child should play for a good soccer club as well as in their high school.

Always remember that college soccer scholarships are sought by a lot of students. By having the proper skills and the proper discipline, your child will be able to play soccer in college and at the same time, earn their scholarship.

As the FIFA World Cup is coming closer, all issues surrounding the game is popping up. Initially it was security concerns now it is the representation of native artists in the event.

A South African artists union said on Tuesday that it was mobilizing a boycott of FIFA World Cup Kick-off concert protest the large numbers of international artists in the line up.

The kick-off concert is scheduled to take place at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg’s historic Soweto Township on June 10. It will be broadcast live worldwide.

General Secretary of the Creative Workers of South Africa Oupa Lebogo said, “This is not an African event, aw are telling the masses to stay away from this event.” He added, “We are not calling for violence or protest outside the concert venue, we just want people to stay away from it.”

How successful will be the call of boycott, time will tell but for time being Tickets for the event have been sold out, with price ranging from 450 rand ($58) to 1400 rand.
Since the March announcement of the star-studded line up, including American performers such as Alicia Keys and John Legend, local musicians have been demanding greater participation.

To pacify the raising voice of he local artists FIFA has increased the local acts to seven from three in the initial list.

It is not just the representation of the artist in the much anticipated event but the price of Ticket is also a big issue. The union feels feels that the 450 rand price for the cheapest ticket is too steep for the ordinary South Africans.

“That amount is more than a weekly wage for many workers in this country. This is an elitist event which is not intended for the people,” said Leboga.

Legendary trumpeter, Hugh Masekela and the Grammy Award winning Soweto Gospel Choir are some of the local headliners.

England Vs Algeria Team Profile:
England : Group C
The Three Lions go into 2010 FIFA World Cup Finals hoping to add to their solitary World Cup trophy that was famously won by Alf Ramsey’s ‘Wingless Wonders’ in 1966, when England hosted the event. With Fabio Capello at the helm, England swept through the qualification matches for the Finals, winning all but one match along the way, which culminated in the Lions’ 5-1 win over old enemy Croatia, giving them a place in South Africa with two games to spare.England is deep in all positions, particularly in the middle of the park, where Steven Gerrard and Frank Lamapard anchor a formidable midfield.

Chances for England to win Fifa World Cup Football 2010:
Stormed through qualification under Capello, whose winning pedigree in club football suggests a more ruthless and focused England are a good bet for at least a semi-final place. An easy draw threw up a straight-forward group but in the first knockout stage a showdown with Germany, Australia, Ghana or Serbia beckons.

Algeria : Group C
Algeria overcame fierce rivals Egypt in a one-off play-off after both countries finished level on points at the top of their group. In the neutral venue of Sudan, Algeria triumphed by a solitary goal by defender Antar Yahia to advance to their third World Cup finals appearance.Upon qualification, Algeria coach Rabah Saadane praised the commitment shown by his players. The Desert Foxes have failed to get out of the group stages during their last two finals outings and they will need the same commitment they showed against Egypt to qualify for the last 16 of the World Cup for the first time in their history.

Chances for Algeria to win Fifa World Cup Football 2010:
Qualifiers for the third time after eliminating Africa’s continental champions Egypt, Saadane’s men are defensively solid and are unlikely to be on the end of any thrashings in South Africa. That said, qualification for the last 16 looks too much to ask.

England Vs Algeria Live Streaming online broadcast internet tv fifa world cup Friday 18th June 2010.

It all comes down to this match. Over 200 countries entered qualifying, 32 made it South Africa, and on July 11th, 2010, 2 remain. The 2010 World Cup Final will be the biggest, most watched match in sports. One team will become world champion, a title they will hold for four years. Will we see a final ruled by controversy, as we did in 2006? Will it be a cagey affair, or will we see a back and forth match like the one in 1986, when Argentina beat West Germany 3-2? Here are all of the important details on the World Cup final:

Where: Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa
When: July 11, 2010 at 8:30pm local time (2:30pm EST)
Who: Spain vs Netherland

Can Holland win the World Cup?

Only one team remain undefeated during the entire tournament, the Netherlands. They eased their way through the group phases and then disposed of Slovakia, the mighty Brazil and Uruguay. They have played at a consistently high standard and tempo throughout and have peaked at exactly the right time.

No longer tarred with rumours of in house fighting this squad is united. In Wesley Sneijder they arguably have the player of the tournament and one of the World Cup’s leading scorers. He has been fantastic, running games from midfield with his playmaking genius. Plus in Dirk Kuyt, Robin Van Persie and Arjen Robben they have a constant goal threat. They do however still look suspect at the back at times.

DESERVING FINALIST

Spain was one of the favorites coming into this World Cup (pause here to gloat that yours truly picked Spain to make the final). But it wasn’t until the second half Wednesday night that the Spaniards really seemed to kick it into high gear.

And what better time to find your groove than four days before the final?

Truth is, Spain deserves to be in the final. It has been the dominant team in Europe for the past few years. And the Netherlands deserves to be there, too, with a 14-0 record through qualifying and this World Cup — not to mention its wonderfully entertaining Orange Nation of fans. These are, without question, the two best nations never to win a World Cup. It’s nice to know that we are guaranteed a new champion Sunday.

Germany should have had a clue that things were not going to go its way because Paul the octopus oracle chose Spain to win. Don’t laugh. This is serious stuff. The eight-legged creature, which lives in Germany, correctly predicted the outcome of every Germany match at this World Cup.

The octopus’ owner puts out two plexiglass boxes, each with mussels inside. One box is decorated with the German flag, the other with the opponent’s flag. Paul climbs into one of the boxes, and in every case the past few weeks, he has climbed into the box of the winner. He predicted Germany would lose to Serbia, beat England and Argentina, and lose to Spain.

Not sure if Paul has a feeling about Sunday’s final, but I do. If Spain plays how it played during the second half Wednesday, it will win. This is Spain’s time. Underacheivers no more.
